It's not too early to Save-the-Date for next year's Spaghetti Dinner: Sunday, February 7, 2027!

The school and St. Charles Alumni Association would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all those in the Carolian Community who helped to make the 2025 edition a great one!

On a bitterly cold Sunday afternoon and evening, we served more than 637 meals to those who dined with us inside the Walter Student Commons. The kitchen staff prepared an additional 340+ carry-out dinners for those who sent someone else out in the frigid temperatures to pick up Sunday dinner. And more than 130 student and parents served as volunteers, without whom we could not carry on this event!

See you at next yea's Spaghetti Dinner on Sunday, February 7, 2027!

We are especially grateful to these folks who helped with the dinner:
  • Administrators Mr. Ey and Mr. Lower for being on hand to welcome and speak with our guests.
  • The Advancement Office team of Mrs. Lawler, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Must and Mr. Paolini for welcoming guests and providing tours of the new Brotherhood Center.
  • Mrs. Nye for opening the “Cardinal Corner” so that our alumni, parents, and friends could stock up on SC spirt wear and apparel.
  • The students who coordinated the “50/50” raffle to benefit our upcoming “Father/Son” service project in coordination with Catholic Social Services.
  • The members of the St. Charles Alumni Association who handled our front-door duties and helped direct in-house and carry-out kitchen operations. I especially want to thank the association’s Spaghetti Dinner Committee Chairs, Jim Greenhalge ‘88 (also our SCAA President) and Mike Probst ’89. They serve as my ‘right hand.’ helping run operations and directing volunteers in the kitchen throughout the day.
  • Band Director Philip Meyer and the students in the St. Charles Jazz Band Ensemble for entertaining us throughout the afternoon.
  • The annual  “1st shift line crew” of Ralston Brothers who have helped each of the last 19 years (more recently with the Sweeney and Davidson Families alongside).
  • …and of course, the dinner’s MAJOR ANCHOR, Berwick Manor’s TJ Susi, and his service staff. They expertly handle the hot, intense, and messy job of preparing our food throughout the entire day. Like the Ralston’s, Berwick Manor and the Susi Family have been staples of the event since February 2007 when I relaunched the dinner following a few-years hiatus.

     Thank you!
